My Dad has been fighting a rather aggressive cancer for about a year and has gone through so much. We were going to visit dad a couple of weeks ago so I bought the “lab” door knocker for him. I was so delighted when he opened the gift, he absolutely loved it – when I showed him the underside of the knocker’s leg he laughed so hard! It was wonderful to see him get so much joy out of a gift that I gave him. I was so happy to hear him laugh! I ordered this unique welcome sign as a Christmas gift for my sister and brother in law who breed dogs and run their own canine obedience center. I know they will get a kick out of this and find the perfect spot to place it. The sign was even larger and more substantial than I had expected, and although I didn't install it myself, it appears as though you simply need to hammer in a nail or hook and hang it by the enclosed chain.

This is one great sign! I'll hang onto it for life. It looks good inside or outside though it's durable enough for the outside. It is a very solid well made sign and worth the price as I can't see how one could destroy this sign unless they really tried. It's easy to assemble. Just hook the chain onto the sign and you're ready to hang. It cracks me up when I look at since this is how dogs greet one another!

This doorknocker is even cuter than it looked in the catalogue. from the walkway, it just looks like a silhouette of a dog, but you can't help smiling when you reach the door. it is sturdy and easy to install. two screws and you're done. i would recommend this to a friend, but i want to be the only one who has one!
